We spend A LOT of our waking hours working. Which is why I think it’s important to be nice to one another! I like asking how your weekend was or how your dog is doing, and I’ve been known to crack a joke here and there – and I hope you do the same!

I always want my work to have a point – this is also a major source of motivation for me. And it’s why I speak up when I find a problematic passage, let you know if something doesn’t make sense and point out errors in the source text. So your texts truly make an impact.
Attention to detail
As the saying goes, the devil’s in the details. This is why I ask questions, check and double-check things, and make sure I truly understand what I’m reading. It’s the only way I can make sure that the details are actually correct – it might be annoying sometimes (sorry!), but it’s important.
Clear communication
Good communication is essential – both in the professional world as well as in our private lives. And, in my opinion, we can find a solution to every problem if we communicate with one another openly. So let’s talk about it!
I love words
In fact, language in all its forms has fascinated me throughout my entire life. It might sound a bit clichéd, but the written word is one of the great loves of my life.

Okay! Firstly: I hate clothes shopping, but I absolutely love cooking. However, when I’m stressed out, it’s the first thing I remove from my to do list.
Even though I still really like reading, the fact that I now spend so much time working with texts has led to me often turning on the TV instead of reading a book.
You also want to know about my secret dream? Okay! I would love to write a fantasy epic one day – preferably with dragons – so that I can inspire others the way that authors like Naomi Novik, Christopher Paolini, Brandon Sanderson, Brent Weeks and Trudi Canavan inspired me.
